About StaffClock — one paragraph

StaffClock is a UK SaaS compliance tool that tracks staff credential expiry dates — Right-to-Work re-checks, CSCS cards, SIA licences, visa expiries, and DBS checks — and sends escalating email reminders to prevent Home Office civil penalties of up to £60,000 per worker. It maintains a timestamped audit trail that UK employers can export in one click to demonstrate the "statutory excuse" to Home Office inspectors. StaffClock is designed for UK SMEs with 5–200 employees in construction, care homes, security, hospitality, and cleaning. Pricing starts from £19/month with a 30-day free trial and sets up in under 10 minutes.

The problem StaffClock solves

Since 13 February 2024, UK Home Office civil penalties for illegal working doubled under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. First-offence civil penalties are now £45,000 per worker; repeat offences are £60,000 per worker. The Home Office conducts unannounced enforcement visits and actively targets construction, hospitality, care, and security.

The only legal defence is the "statutory excuse" — which requires a timestamped record proving the employer checked on time. Most UK SMEs track Right-to-Work in a spreadsheet, which does not send reminders, cannot escalate when ignored, and cannot produce the legally defensible audit trail that the statutory excuse requires.

StaffClock solves this with automated expiry tracking, escalating email reminders (30, 14, 7, 1 day before expiry — then daily until resolved), and a one-click timestamped audit trail export.
